About me
I received the Laurea degree in Computer Science from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1994 and the Ph. D. degree in Information Engineering from the University of Brescia, Italy, in 1998.
From 1998 to 2000, I was a post-doc grant holder at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, Institute for Systems, Informatics and Safety.
From November 2000 to April 2015 I have been Assistant Professor and from May 2015 to November 2019 I have been Associate Professor at the University of Brescia, Department of Information Engineering.
Since December 2019 I am Full Professor at the same university.
My research interests are in the Human-Computer Interaction area and include methods for designing visual interactive systems, meta-design, end-user development, interaction design patterns, usability and accessibility of interactive systems, decision support systems, systems supporting computational thinking.
I am an ACM member and since 2001 I am a member of the SIGCHI Italy research community (the Italian Chapter of ACM SIGCHI - ACM's Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction).
